Self-care is an extremely important part of taking care of your mental health, but it doesn’t always have to be costly or time-consuming. Sometimes it could be as simple as painting a picture, reading, or even watching your favorite show/movie on Netflix. Below is a list of the top 10 ways to take care of yourself.

Meditation is a great way to relieve stress and become more mindful. It helps you center yourself and accept the present. Mindfulness is so powerful in curing depression and anxiety that some physicians are using meditation instead of medication.

Surround yourself with positive people. Nothing is better than having positive peers and family members to support you. They improve your confidence and self-worth. Good friends have been proven to bring out the best in you and relieve stress. Which also results in a healthier state of mind.
